Written by me for work, but I thought it might help others jumpstart their GDB based debugging. The first time I tried GDB I was really confused and it felt like a lot of resources online went super deep right away. I just needed the simple commands to navigate and such.
One key thing that helped was using Zephyr’s west attach command which uses the associated runner and boots you right into gdb. I think setting up the server/client stuff caught me up in the past as well, and since i already had tooling for Zephyr builds, this made it easier
