Tony Nichols build log

Hello world!

I’m a chemical engineer, my name is Tony. I startted out working on Raspberry Pi, but quickly decided that was not for me. Now i’m going back to the beginnings and trying to do simple circuits, liek the ones shown here:

I got Forrest’s book and have been working through it. I’m also considering getting the art of electronics, but I’m not sure I want to do that right now. I’ve heard it’s pretty hard to read.

Hey Tony,

That’s a great way to get started. Kits can be helpful, and the Forrest Mims books have gotten so many people into electronics. I always recommend arduino as a way to get into the programmable side of things, since Raspberry Pi is quite abstracted from the hardware (even more than arduino).
