Routing arcs or non-45 degree tracks in Kicad

Does anyone have any tips for routing arcs or non -45 degree tracks in Kicad? I see the free angle drag but it would be nice to do it that way interactively from the start. Maybe I’m missing something.

You might want to consider asking kicad specific questions on the kicad forum: https://forum.kicad.info

For now answer for 5.1.x: while in routing mode right click -> interactive router settings -> switch to highlight collision mode and activate free angle mode.
